Endeavor Information Systems announced today Patricia Ryan joins the company as a regional account manager in the North America West region. A fifteen-year veteran in medical and corporate library circles and a member of the Medical Library Association and the Special Library Association, Ryan focuses on introducing Endeavor's ENCompass Solutions for managing, searching and linking digital collections; LinkFinderPlus comprehensive linking system and Voyager integrated library management system to academic, medical and corporate libraries not currently taking advantage of these technologies.
Ryan assumes responsibility for Endeavor's sales efforts in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah and Washington, along with the Canadian provinces of Alberta, British Columbia and the Yukon Territory. She brings a wealth of library industry experience to her role at Endeavor, with an extensive background in providing information solutions to the medical library market. Most recently, she was the Director of Special Library Services at Ingenta, Inc., providing competitive analysis of international document delivery services in addition to serving as the key account manager for sales of all services to corporate, medical and government markets.
Prior to Ingenta, Ryan was a Regional Sales Director at Elsevier Science, where she managed the sales of all Elsevier electronic databases in the U.S. and Canadian corporate markets. Ryan has also held a number of other sales positions with various companies primarily focused on the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical library markets.
