Abstract: Innovative Interfaces announced that members of the Association of Research Libraries continue to embrace Millennium as their library automation solution.

Emeryville, CA—Innovative Interfaces, a leader in information technology for libraries, announced that members of the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) continue to embrace Millennium as their library automation solution.

Two more ARL member libraries have recently chosen to move to Innovative's Millennium system. Innovative's high number of ARL members prompted Library Journal to note, "Innovative's 34 ARL library customers continue to give it the highest penetration into ARL's 122 institutions." The new Millennium libraries are the University of Arizona and Case Western Reserve University.

The University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona has been an Innovative customer since 1986. The University Libraries, including those at the College of Law and Medicine, contain more than 10 million items, as well as 5,764 electronic journals, and several thousand full-text databases.

Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, has been an Innovative customer since 1991. The libraries have a combined collection strength of 1.5 million items. The University Library was a founding member of the OhioLINK consortium, which is served by INN-Reach, Innovative's direct consortial borrowing system.

According to Leslie Straus, Innovative's Vice President of Worldwide Sales, "It's very gratifying that ARL libraries choose Millennium recognizing that it will better serve both their student and academic research populations while streamlining workloads for staff. The University of Arizona and Case Western Reserve University join an impressive group of other Millennium libraries such as Brown University, Dartmouth College, Michigan State University, New York Public Research Libraries, and University of Washington."
