(Carlsbad, CA – June 9, 2002) – EOS International founder and Chairman of the Board, Scot Cheatham, announced today the promotion of Tony Saadat as the corporation's new Chief Executive Officer.

Tony's extensive experience with high technology companies provides a strong foundation for his new role as CEO, and his broad-base background, combined with the solid relationships he has built within the library communities will further strengthen the company's future growth. His commitment to pushing the boundaries of service quality has played a key role in EOS International's growth and success. In addition, Tony's reputation as an executive who builds strong companies is well known in the library industry.
Tony joined EOS as the Chief Operating Officer with more than 15 years of library industry experience encompassing Sales and Marketing, Research and Development, and Client Services. He has had particular experience building successful sales organizations servicing the library industry with particular emphasis on Fortune 1000 corporate, legal, medical and government libraries. His extensive experience and knowledge of the library industry as a whole has been invaluable to EOS International in focusing on the needs of the Special Library marketplace. He graduated with honors from Birmingham University in England and went on to earn a Masters degree in Computer Science at the University of British Columbia in 1983. After working as a software engineer for several years following graduation, Tony accepted an appointment as Director of Client Services for SydneyPLUS International followed by a promotion to Director of Sales and Marketing and subsequently Executive Vice-President Sales and Marketing. Over the course of his library industry experience, Tony has earned many company awards for outstanding achievement and commitment to customer service.
