Ex Libris welcomes new staff in Chicago and Boston

Abstract: In response to the continued growth in sales, Ex Libris (USA) is pleased to announce that six new staff members have been added to the Chicago and Boston offices.


In response to the continued growth in sales, Ex Libris (USA) is pleased to announce that six new staff members have been added to the Chicago and Boston offices.

Ya'aqov Ziso joins the Chicago office as Customer Support Librarian. Mr. Ziso will assist Ex Libris customers on large multi-user UNIX systems, as well as providing advanced applications training. He has several years experience in projects and Quality Control in Ex Libris (Israel).

Candice Sterckx joins the Boston office as a SFX Librarian. Ms. Sterckx will be providing training and support for SFX administrators on the tools available for local configuration of an SFX server, both during and after product implementation. Ms. Sterckx has a wealth of teaching and technical experience, and holds a Master of Library Science degree from Simmons College.

Karen Groves joins the Boston office as a MetaLib Librarian. Ms. Groves holds degrees in Library and Information Science and in Engineering. She has over 20 years of experience in delivering superior products and services to customers.

Dennis Sage joins the Chicago office as the Manager of Conversion Services. Mr. Sage has extensive experience with programming and libraries and library data, including jobs at OCLC and Northern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Roger Mikos joins the Chicago office as an Implementation Programmer. Mr. Mikos has experience on a wide variety of applications, platforms, network architecture, languages, databases, communications and other software.

Stan Smith joins Ex Libris (USA) as a Sales Support Librarian. Mr. Smith brings to Ex Libris (USA) extensive experience in library software, having previously worked for over 5 years at epixtech.
