Abstract: Innovative Interfaces announced the launch of its newly-redesigned customer e-service site, CSDirect. The site, available to all of Innovative''s partner libraries, is the most sophisticated and content-rich of any library automation vendor.


August 31, 2001 Innovative Interfaces, a leader in information technology for libraries, announced the launch of its newly-redesigned customer e-service site, CSDirect. The site, available to all of Innovative's partner libraries, is the most sophisticated and content-rich of any library automation vendor.

CSDirect exemplifies Innovative's commitment to Web-based technology. Since its inception, it has been heavily utilized by libraries using Innovative systems, receiving, on average, over 7,500 user sessions per month. (Data supplied by WebTrends site analysis software). It provides libraries automated service and assistance with their Innovative software and hardware.

The redesigned site offers a new, intuitive interface that will be familiar to current site users, but also adds significant new content. It is updated several times a day, and is organized by functional area (Learn, Exchange, Inform, Maintain).

"Learn" includes information about the user's system, technical tips, and upgrades, and includes FAQs, product tutorials, and online user manuals. "Exchange" provides users with the ability to interact with Innovative technicians and other libraries with email functions, user group information, documentation, and online product presentations. "Inform" lets users resolve hardware and software issues, open and view calls, and schedule product implementation. "Maintain" includes system downloads and updates, as well as release notes, and the ability to manage a library's profile and access to CSDirect.
