Salient feature of capslib :
  • ACQUISITION:- Deals with entire process of acquisition which starts from preparation of required list to placing order.
  • MANAGEMENT:- Deals with input data of books, member, project reports or dissertation and old students also
  • CIRCULATION :- Deals with books on loan, return books, borrowers accounts, project report on loan, printing of books with borrower etc.
  • INQUIRY:- Inquiry is a unique feature of retrieving books under various parameter and its status (Relating to the availability) with an interactive mode.
  • REPORTS:- Deals with printing library catalogue in a ACCR-II format, spine level, project reports etc.
  • UTILITIES:- Utilities is another unique feature which generates the calendar and calculator. The back up of data of master tables and issued/return transaction can be done with a simple mouse click.
  • DATA PROTECTION:- Protection against losing database records due to power failure and password and password facility is also available in the package to protect data from unauthorized user. Password can be assigned for user group in a multi-user environment.
  • DATA CONVERSION:- Data can be import from any other software package like CDS/ISIS, dbase, foxpro, paradox etc.
  • BARCODE TECHNOLOGY:- Cspslib can run on barcode technology
  • MULTIPLE WINDOWS INTERFACE:- Capslib support multiple windows interface. The user can open multiple windows simultaneously to perform various task.
  • INFORMATION SERVICE:- The package provides the facilities of selective dissiminination of information (SDI) service, current awerness service(CAS) and Bibliographical service.

We want collaboration with any company who wanted to make market thereself in India, this software has become popular in Indian market, if some body come with us with good faith we can make it more popular in India. Basically this software is develop by librarian himself therefore it can be individual property.
