Abstract: Ex Libris Ltd. is pleased to announce that Marc Daubach, previously Managing Director of Ex Libris (UK), has been appointed, immediately, as Corporate Vice-President of International Sales, reporting to Ehud Arad, President and CEO of Ex Libris Ltd..


June 14, 2001 - Chicago. Ex Libris Ltd. is pleased to announce that Marc Daubach, previously Managing Director of Ex Libris (UK), has been appointed, immediately, as Corporate Vice-President of International Sales, reporting to Ehud Arad, President and CEO of Ex Libris Ltd..

Marc will be responsible for defining and supervising sales and marketing activities in Europe, Asia , Australia and Latin America for all Ex Libris products, including strategic and commercial issues. His responsibilities will include coordinating and directing sales of the company's subsidiaries and distributors, business development in emerging markets, as well as close coordination with product development and enhancement. He will also liaise closely with sales and marketing in the US.

Marc is taking over his sales and marketing duties from Azriel Morag, who will continue as Group Chairman, dealing with corporate growth strategies and policies. Marc Daubach has been with Ex Libris for some five years, successively as Sales Manager (Ex Libris-Luxembourg), Sales Manager (Europe) and Managing Director, Ex Libris (UK). He holds a Masters degree in Computer Sciences from Imperial College in London .

His objective and his challenge will be to build upon a record of over 600 ALEPH library automation systems sold so far in 44 countries and to contribute to the launch of Ex Libris' new information products MetaLib, SFX and DigiTooL.

Julie Booth, until now Sales Manager, is succeeding Marc Daubach as Managing Director, Ex Libris (UK). Julie has over 12 years' experience in the library automation business. Prior to joining Ex Libris, she held positions in project management and library system sales with MDIS and Dynix (now epixtech). For the latter company, Julie managed to win 21 new customers in just one year. At Ex Libris, she was instrumental in significantly increasing the ALEPH market share in the UK.
