Ex Libris (USA) is pleased to announce that two more sites went live in the month of August on their ALEPH 500 systems – the University of Iowa and Brandon University. This continues the trend of Ex Libris installations that have been installed on time and on budget. Both installations were the result of the commitment of staff at the Universities and at Ex Libris to the project(s) goals.
"We are pleased to have Brandon University and the University of Iowa fully utilizing their ALEPH 500 systems," said Carl Grant, President of Ex Libris (USA), "As other libraries evaluate their options, they'll be pleased to know that Ex Libris represents a choice that means the new services and functionality will be available as promised to the users of their library."
Larry Woods, Director of Information Technology Head at the University of Iowa said; "Ex Libris staff worked hard to effect a successful implementation. Everyone at Iowa is both pleased and impressed with ALEPH 500."
Terry Mitchell, Brandon University Librarian, said: "We are excited about the improved functionality and access to external databases which ALEPH provides, and we are very pleased with the support we received from Ex Libris during installation."
