McHenry, Illinois -- October 18, 1993 -- Follett Software Company announces its plans to release a new version of its Macintosh catalog searching software, MacSearch Plus Station. The new version of MacSearch Plus Station will operate under Follett's new Unison platform, a software design that allows for software connectivity and cross-hardware platform interoperability.

The first in a series of Follett library management software applications for the Macintosh, MacSearch Plus Station enables MS-DOS and Macintosh interoperability by allowing access to Follett's Catalog Plus on-line public access catalog from Macintosh workstations in networked computer labs, classrooms and libraries.

"We are pleased to introduce the first of several library management software products for the Macintosh to come from Follett Software Company This year," says Charles (Chuck) R. Follett, Jr., president of Follett Software.
