Huntsville, Alabama - SIRSI Corporation is pleased to announce that the installation of its Unicorn Collection Management System at the Pennsylvania College of Technology is complete.
In addition to the bibliographic and inventory control module, the library has licensed the academic reserves, authority control, circulation control, and enhanced public access modules. Unicorn is installed on an IBM RISC System/6000 platform. Kate Hickey, Director, commented, "The specific feature that appealed to us was the system's user-friendliness. The system is truly integrated and offered all the desired modules."
The Pennsylvania College of Technology Library is located in Williamsport, home of the Little League World Series. With a staff of thirteen, the library serves approximately 4300 full-time students, over 500 faculty and staff, and a small number of community borrowers.
