Huntsville, AL (January 13, 1997) - Sirsi Corporation announced today the license of UNICORN to the Maryland Institute, College of Art, located in Baltimore, Maryland.

The Maryland Institute, College of Art, established in 1826, is the nation's oldest fully accredited art college. Located in the historic Bolton Hill neighborhood in Baltimore, at the center of the Washington/New York arts corridor, the Maryland Institute offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Master of Fine Arts, Master of Arts in Teaching degrees, and a five-year combined Bachelor of Fine Arts/Master of Arts in Teaching degree. The Institute enrolls over 900 students in its degree programs from 40 states and 44 foreign countries, selected from the best high school art programs from around the world. The College's full- and part-time faculty, is comprised of over 150 professional artists, designers and scholars, who have cumulatively been awarded every major prize in the art world. Their work is exhibited internationally and is part of major museum collections throughout the world.

The Maryland Institute, College of Art Library will install UNICORN on a 200mhz Pentium Pro PC host computer.
