DRA signs $1.2 million contract for Alaskan statewide consortium

St. Louis, MO, November 9, 1998 -- Data Research Associates, Inc. (DRA) (Nasdaq: DRAI) today announced that it has signed a $1.2 million contract for the DRA next-generation Taos library automation system with the University of Alaska, Fairbanks on behalf of the State of Alaska Libraries Consortium.

The contract calls for central server hardware and software installations at three regional sites: Capital City Libraries, Fairbanks North Star Borough and the University of Alaska, Fairbanks.
