Sacramento City Unified School District chooses Athena.

AUSTIN, TEXAS, March 19, 1998 - The Sacramento City Unified School District has chosen Athena as its library automation system. The district will automate all 77 schools with Athena. The district plans to automate the schools in several "rounds." Approximately 29 schools will automate during the first round, which will take about one year.

According to Linda Jewett, Coordinator of Library Media Services, the district is excited to begin using Athena. "We are delighted with what we have seen so far. Athena is user-friendly, and we feel it will not only increase library efficiency, but will be a wonderful tool for teaching students online searches
