Mueller, 58 has been elected Chairman of the Company's Board of Directors. Mr. Mueller joined the Microtest Board of Directors in December 1997.
Mr. Mueller was the founder and chief executive officer of Mastersoft, Inc., a leading supplier of word processing document conversion and file viewing software, licensed by over 100 of the world's largest computer manufacturers and software developers. As founder of Mastersoft, Mr. Mueller guided the company from a start-up operation to one of the leading suppliers of embedded code technology. Mastersoft was acquired by Adobe Systems, Inc. in 1995.
Richard G. Meise will stay on the Board as an outside director and assist the company in a transitional role as Vince Hren, new President & CEO starts his duties on January 18, 1999.
