August 11, 2016. Lambton County Library located in south western Ontario, Canada recently launched Infor's Iguana website and discovery product.
The library has 26 branches across the county working together to provide more cost effective library services including a variety of free services to the public, programming and internet access.
The initial launch of Iguana is primarily to improve discovery and improve the patron experience. During the launch period patrons have the option of using the new Iguana interface or the classic WebOpac.
Statistics show that the majority of the library's patrons have prefer to use Iguana and the library is also seeing a nice boost in the percentage of self-service transactions (renewals and reservations) by patrons using Iguana.
Infor Iguana delivers the online experience that your increasingly savvy web audience expects, and offers the tools you need to promote collections and services via widgets, mashups, animations, personal interest profiles, lists, alerts, social sharing, and an app. This online platform combines website and collection in one environment.
