Smart Libraries Newsletter [January 2016]

Abstract: Open source ILS products now constitute a routine part of the library automation industry. As much as 20 percent of the automation systems deployed in small and medium-sized public libraries are based on open source software. Percentages in the academic sector are smaller, but growing. In recent weeks, additional libraries have announced selections for two open source ILS products previously covered in Smart Libraries Newsletter, Koha, and Invenio.
