Chicago, IL -- June 25, 2015. Ex Libris Group, a world leader in the provision of library automation and preservation solutions, is pleased to announce that Arizona State University and Northern Arizona University have adopted the Rosetta digital asset management and preservation solution. Rosetta will enable the libraries to manage and preserve their digital collections, including born-digital objects such as web sites and research data, in perpetuity. With Rosetta, the three institutions will be able to implement the solution together and work off one infrastructure, providing end-to-end digital asset management and preservation for the vast array of assets in all of their libraries.

"Rosetta will enable us to develop a sustainable digital preservation program," remarked James O'Donnell, university librarian at Arizona State University. "We are excited to embark on this implementation in partnership with the University of Arizona and Northern Arizona University and further unify the institutions within our state."

Cynthia Childrey, dean and university librarian at Northern Arizona University, commented: ""We are excited about building on a strong tri-university collaboration and appreciate the support from the Arizona Board of Regents' Live Data project. The Rosetta implementation will help us create a technology infrastructure and a statewide community of experts dedicated to preserving our valuable research and cultural assets for the long term."

"We are delighted to welcome two more institutions in Arizona to the international Rosetta community," remarked Eric Hines, president of Ex Libris North America. "With the addition of Arizona State University and Northern Arizona University, Rosetta is the leading digital asset management and preservation system within the state. The collaborative approach among the three institutions leading to a shared infrastructure for digital asset management will offer great efficiencies and also provide an excellent support system through the implementation process. We look forward to seeing many more institutions take advantage of this approach within their respective regions."
