Long Island, NY – Capira Technologies, an emerging leader in the design and development of customized mobile applications, announces the launch of its signature app service exclusively for libraries.
Newly founded by managing partners with more than 30 years of dedicated library service, Capira Technologies is dedicated to helping libraries across the country digitize their services for both their patrons and staff. By providing a customizable platform and integrating sleek design with high functionality, Capira Technologies will offer libraries the flexibility to tailor their app to fit their specific needs.
Capira Technologies features a revolutionary integrated Mobile Library Card Sign-up module, providing a time saving solution for staff and making registration easier for patrons. The platform also offers a Digital Library Card presentation module, allowing patrons to save their library cards onto their smart phones, enabling simple and immediate access to their information. Emergency and Reminder Push Notifications allow libraries to reach patrons even in disasters or power outages to notify them of closings and other emergency situations. Other features available include a Web Management Console, Direct ILS integration, Self Checkout, Google Mobile Analytics, and Professional Marketing and Design Services, facilitating a smooth transition to the application and allowing for constant access and management of the application.
"We are proud to combine our years of library service with our technical know-how to offer a product and platform that can truly transform libraries," said Michael Berse, managing member and lead software engineer for Capira Technologies. He added that, "all apps are not created equal, so at Capira Technologies we are dedicated to providing a superior platform that is easy to use and of professional quality, yet versatile enough to address the unique needs of libraries and their patrons."
Representatives from Capira Technologies will be presenting this new signature app service at this year's American Library Association Annual Conference and Exhibition in Chicago from June 27 through July 2 in booth number 854.
