Emeryville, CA—Innovative announced today that Oxnard Public Library (OPL) has selected the Polaris ILS and will migrate from a Symphony system provided by SirsiDynix. OPL has an annual circulation of nearly 570,000 and holds 370,000 book volumes across its three branches.
"Public libraries know that a library platform has to be easy to use in order to serve a diverse population," says Bill Schickling, SVP of Global Sales. "The Polaris ILS is a perfect fit in this environment because it makes discovering and accessing materials as straightforward as any modern commercial website. Innovative's track record of serving county libraries in the US is strong and we expect a long and fruitful partnership with OPL."
