The contractor selected under this Request For Proposals shall provide, both initially and ongoing, the delivery and support for all elements of the web-based, hosted system and describe any computer hardware and functional application software and internet connection requirements needed by LCLD to access and use the system. As the result of award, LCLD will implement new systems as needed in support of all functions and services identified in this Request For Proposals.
In addition, the selected contractor will be responsible for converting existing data, entering that data into the new system, providing system testing, training staff, documenting processes and procedures as outlined in this RFP, and remaining available for support and service through the life of the contract between LCLD and the selected contractor. LCLD will assist in material ways as defined in the final contract to emerge from the solicitation process.
The proposal should be for the 5 public libraries, LCLD and 2 community college libraries. We would also like to find out what the costs will be without the Driftwood (Lincoln City) and Newport public libraries.
The new ILS is to be implemented no later than June 30, 2012.
