Duluth, GA — August 30, 2012. Kenton County Public Library in Covington, Kentucky has gone live with Evergreen as their next generation ILS system. Equinox Software provided data migration and training services and will continue to provide ongoing technical support.
Kenton County will host their Evergreen installation locally with over 500,000 bibliographic items and 122,000 patrons on the new system. Their new catalog can be viewed on line at http://catalog.kentonlibrary.org.
According to Brad LaJeunesse, Equinox President, "Kenton County is a great addition to the Evergreen Community. They oversaw their own installation and configuration so they bring a wealth of knowledge to both current and future Evergreen users."
"Evergreen provides our patrons and staff with an amazing resource to search our collections. The added information and data is wonderful and the searching functions are easy to use and extremely helpful. We are very pleased with Evergreen and are looking forward to it growing with our needs," said Dave Schroeder, executive director of the Kenton County Public Library.
With a history dating back to 1899, the Kenton County Public Library continues its mission to provide the best library services to its patrons. The Erlanger Branch is the busiest branch library in the state, and the William E. Durr branch serves the fastest growing community in Kentucky.
