New York, April 25, 2012 Ė EasyBib, the go-to place for writers to organize their research, find quality sources and credit it properly on their bibliography, is pleased to announce the hiring of librarian Emily Gover, as EasyBib's Information Literacy Specialist.

Emily Gover has spent her career serving the library and technology market, having work experience at Berry College, Reader's Digest and at the University at Albany (SUNY). At those organizations, she has taken roles in information literacy instruction, web services, usability, web design, and reference services. She continues to serve her local community as a librarian at Hendrick Hudson Free Library in Westchester County, NY Ė the very same library she used to ride her bike to when she was a kid.

"I'm looking forward to working with the hundreds of EasyBib library customers," commented Emily Gover. "I'll be connecting with them on a pedagogical level, assessing their feedback to stay abreast of trends in the library. I'll be developing products perfect for librarians, as well as for the student end users, with whom I've spent so much time over the years. "

"We're so pleased to welcome Emily to the EasyBib team, as we make strides towards designing more solutions that truly meet the needs of libraries and students," added Darshan Somashekar, EasyBib Co-Founder. "With her extensive experience teaching information literacy to students, seeing how they learn and how they struggle with important research skills, with her library knowledge, and with her strong understanding of technology, she will play a key role in helping EasyBib respond to the needs of today's 21st century student researchers more than ever before."

Emily Gover can be found on Twitter, @egover2, talking about information literacy and new technology.
