Abstract: Osceola County commissioners decided Monday to turn over management of libraries to Library Systems & Services. The county will pay the company $4.71 million during the first year of a five-year contract, which commissioners said would not result in reductions in operating hours or services. The fee rises to $4.94 million in the fifth year. The county also will contribute about $600,000 each year to the system's budget.
