EDMONTON, ALBERTA- Libramation, Inc. is pleased to announce the Moore Library of the Pioneer Library System in Oklahoma has just installed a Media Bank Classic in their building. This is the third Media Bank purchased by the PLS and joins systems installed earlier at the Norman (January 2009) and Shawnee (April 2010) Libraries. A fourth system is scheduled to be installed in the new Oklahoma City Southwestern Library in late summer of this year.
Libramation's Media Bank disc management system provides a secure solution for libraries circulating any form of disc material. The Media Bank is seamlessly integrated with the library's automation system allowing patrons to borrow and return media without requiring staff intervention. Patrons are able to borrow from and return media directly to the Media Bank reducing library staff handling of media items significantly.
Along with the Pioneer Library System, Media Bank units are to be implemented at the Regina Public Library, in Regina SK, and the Golisanno Children's hospital, in Syracuse, NY this summer. These locations are joining an ever growing community of Media Bank users who have discovered why the Media Bank is the number one solution for securing and circulating media collections.
