WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. (Feb. 1, 2011) Ė The Baxter County Library located in Mountain Home, Ark. and Bentonville Public Library located in Bentonville, Ark. installed Tech Logic's affordable Automated Sorting Technologies (AST) QuickSort systems in August 2010. The QuickSort product line is designed for smaller libraries and library branches.

QuickSort amenities include interior or exterior book drops, barcode and/or radio frequency identification (RFID) compatibility, and low energy consumption from a single 110-volt electrical outlet. QuickSort systems are quiet enough to operate in staff work areas and can run without interruption 24 hours a day, seven days a week with minimal oversight.

Baxter County Library installed two RFID QuickSort systems, including a 3-bin exterior hands-free book drop system and a 5-bin interior book drop system. Bentonville Public Library installed two RFID and barcode QuickSort systems, including a 3-bin exterior hands-free book drop system and a 3-bin interior book drop system. Receipt printers were equipped on all of the systems.

QuickSort offers fast, accurate sorting and patron-friendly returns, in a low-maintenance, compact system. Moving items back into circulation quickly, efficiently, and carefully is the goal with any Tech Logic AST system. Tech Logic's QuickSort sorts materials rapidly while handling them gently. This assures that items are back in circulation quickly and maintain a long shelf life.

QuickSort systems provide the same top-notch performance, innovation, quality, durability, and service that are synonymous with all Tech Logic products, but at a price that satisfies libraries with limited budgets.
