August 25, 2010. Relais International is pleased to announce that the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) based in Ottawa, Canada has selected the Relais ILL Hosted Service. IDRC is a Canadian Crown corporation that works in close collaboration with researchers from the developing world in their search for the means to build healthier, more equitable, and more prosperous societies.
The Hosted Service will include the Relais Access web-based interface for library users to create and monitor their own ILL requests. Staff can use a new and enhanced web-based staff interface and the Relais windows staff client to process ILL requests.
Clare MacKeigan, COO of Relais International, says "we are very pleased to be working with the staff of the IDRC. We are looking forward to helping improve their resource sharing workflow in support of their staff and researchers around the world." The implementation is expected to be completed during the third quarter of 2010.
