August 13, 2010 -- Emeryville, CA. Innovative announced today that Fairfield University (CT) has selected the Millennium ILS to complement and support their existing Encore discovery services application. They are migrating from a SirsiDynix Unicorn system.
"The timing was right to look at an ILS replacement. We value our relationship with Innovative and really love Encore, which is working well for our students and faculty," says Joan Overfield, Director of Library Services. "After looking at commercial and open source solutions for our library operations, Millennium was the clear choice."
Fairfield University participated as an early development partner for Encore and had initially installed the product to complement their previous Unicorn ILS in 2008.
