Fretwell-Downing Informatics (FDI) has further enhanced its commitment to the ANZ market with the appointment of Erica Maxwell as Australasian Sales Manager. Reporting directly to General Manager, Jock Crawford, Erica will be responsible for ensuring that the wider marketplace throughout Australia and New Zealand has a better understanding of the complexities that FDIís solutions portfolio has to offer.

Prior to joining FDI, Erica spent six and a half years working at Geac Computers in a variety of national and international roles within the sales and product management arena. Erica has had a very varied career in librarianship over the past 30 years, and has been an active member of ALIA.

Commenting on her new role, Erica says: "The challenges that this new role brings to me are vast. I have admired the way FDI recognised Australiaís vision behind the LIDDAS project and worked in partnership to make it a reality. This, together with the recent North America success that the company has been enjoying, proved to me that FDI are a forward thinking company that is constantly responding to market needs. I am looking forward to getting closer to our ANZ customer base and playing a critical role in finding solutions to meet their business needs."
