(Carlsbad, CA – May 24, 2010) EOS International is proud to announce the first of several EOS.Web community connection programs, "U.S. Embassy Connect". U.S. Embassy Connect allows U.S. Embassies, Public Affairs Sections and Bi-National Cultural Centers, who use EOS.Web library automation and knowledge management software to share their library collections with each other, worldwide.
This new networking service is available to all participating libraries at no cost. Currently EOS.Web is used by U.S. Embassies in China, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Taipei, Australia, Russia, South Africa, Egypt, Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, Lithuania, Dominican Republic and Costa Rica, with additional clients being added each month.
"The new U.S. Embassy Connect program will allow our embassy clients to easily communicate and share their library collections with each other, creating a unique community of information and knowledge." says Salvatore Provenza, Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing.
