Bloomfield, CT – mk Sorting Systems is pleased to announce today that Pikes Peak District Library has selected its clear Plexiglas RFID security gates and mk GateTracker software for six of their library branches.

These high performance gates will enable Pikes Peak to provide rapid uninterrupted security protection for all library materials, resulting in enhanced circulation services to patrons and staff alike. With an innovative design and sleek appearance these durable gates provide the library accurate and secure detection results, are very reliable, and come standard with an enhanced read range. Installation of the initial six gates came shortly after providing over 1.4 million pre-printed RFID tags to the library.

In addition, the mk LibManager software provides an ultimate dash board for the librarians to track valuable data with ease. The mk GateTracker software allows Pikes Peak to track the number of patrons visiting the library as well as obtain specific information regarding the library materials that trigger the security alarms. This customizable software allows the ability to quickly track valuable data when needed.

"Pikes Peak requested a reliable and modern security system that included software for tracking and data retrieval" said Markus Flory, president of mk Sorting Systems. "Our high performance mk gates combined with our data tracking software allow Pikes Peak to control their overall security system from every librarian’s workstation which is the ideal solution."

"The mk technician wanted to be sure that our expectations as a customer were met" said Julianne Rist Branch Manager. "The installation went well, and the technician even added a software feature for us, in order to make the software more user friendly."
