Norcross, Ga. Ė November 3, 2009. Integrated Technology Group (ITG), recently named Dialoc IDís preferred North American partner, completed its first installations of Dialocís Ellipse electro-magnetic (EM) security systems at two Florida libraries in October. Both facilities, the St. Petersburg Public Library main branch and the Florida Community College library in downtown Jacksonville, utilize 3M EM tags for their collection but selected Dialoc ID gates from ITG after comparing price and capabilities. St, Petersburg is also awaiting installation of their first ITG XpressCheck self service kiosk. They currently have 3M self-checkout systems in place.
"The Dialoc product offers a lot of attractive technical features," says ITG Southeast Account Manager Sergio Villet who brings decades of EM security experience to the table. "The allowance for aisle widths is very favorable," he notes, and "their reliability is unparalleled." Based in the Netherlands, Dialoc ID has been a world leader in electronic article surveillance (EAS) since 1977. Their pedestals, with advanced electromagnetic technology and switch capacitor filtering, provide exact, nearly noise-free tuning for optimal performance.
In addition to EM security pedestals and accessories, Dialoc ID brings new flexibility to the library marketplace with its hybrid DiaMond EM/RFID security gate systems. The DiaMond system is ideal for libraries that want to migrate to RFID without immediately replacing all the existing EM tags in their collection.
Dialoc ID announced the selection of ITG as its preferred North American distributor in July, 2009. ITG is a leading supplier of materials flow automation to libraries and is an innovator in EM and RFID-enabled systems. Unequalled in the marketplace, ITG offers its customers the option to trade up to RFID from EM security pedestals originally purchased from ITG for a cost of only $1500 each. The ITG EM/RFID Trade-In Program takes the stress out of the decision-making process, allowing libraries to make technological advances at their own pace, without dramatic financial consequences.
