Norcross, GA -- July 8, 2009. Equinox Software, Inc., "The Evergreen Experts," has responded to a powerful increase in the number of libraries using Evergreen library software by adding three specialists to its support team. Ben Ostrowsky and Steve Callender have come aboard as Support Specialists, while David Brown has been hired as System Administrator. Their expertise will continue to ensure expeditious ticket response, excellent customer care, and well-managed services even as Equinox and the Evergreen community continue to grow.

Ostrowsky comes to Equinox with over 11 years of library industry experience, most recently as a software consultant for Alpha-G Consulting, where he gained direct experience with Evergreen software. Callender brings nine years of software maintenance and development, most recently with the Reynolds and Reynolds Company, where he served as Lead Programmer and Application Developer. Brown brings over 15 years of IT experience, most recently as Library Systems Manager for the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Don McMorris, Equinox Software Operations Manager, commented, "It is very exciting to see the support team growing. Additional support staff will allow us to provide even faster support and more creative solutions to the complex and diverse problems that we see."

About Evergreen

Evergreen is powerful, highly scalable open-source library software. While Evergreen is best known for its unique ability to meet the needs of very large, high-transaction, multi-site consortia, Evergreen also elegantly scales down to the smallest library sites.

Since its debut in September 2006 as the software powering the 270-plus libraries of the Georgia PINES consortium, Evergreen has earned acclaim and praise from users worldwide, including a Technology Collaboration Award from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. Evergreen now supports hundreds of libraries of every type—public, academic, special, and school media—in 12 states and several countries.
