Seattle, WA, US – June 8 2009. President of Softlink America, Robert Corrao has announced his resignation from Softlink this week.
Since 2001, Corrao has managed operations at Softlink America, including sales direction for Softlink’s range of information management solutions for corporate, academic, public and school libraries.
During his time with the company, Corrao supported the development of Softlink’s presence across the United States and Canada, helping to establish a strong client base and solid sales and support teams from the Seattle office.
Based in Seattle, Softlink America is a wholly‐owned subsidiary of Softlink International, performing product sales and support across Canada, North and South America. Since establishment in 1983, Softlink has steadily developed a strong product range, sales and distribution networks to support more than 10,000 customers across 108 nations.
Last month Softlink International acquired its UK distributor Softlink Europe, providing a massive boost to export opportunities throughout the Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Headquartered in Brisbane, Softlink International has additional offices in New Zealand, Hong Kong, India and resellers throughout Asia Pacific and Europe.
"Rob has made valuable contributions during his time at Softlink," said Softlink’s Global Chief Executive Officer, Kim Duffy. "I know he will be missed by the client base and wish him all the best with his future endeavours," he said.
