CARLSBAD, CA, April 28, 2009 -- EOS International announced that Scot Cheatham, the company's President serving in a strategic planning role, will assume the duties of the company's Chief Executive Officer from Mr. Tony Saadat, who recently left the company.
As one of the founders of EOS over 28 years ago, Scot has been the driving force behind many of the company's innovations, including the first ILS system for microcomputers, the first introduction of the GUI OPAC, and the company's current Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery model using .NET technology.
"EOS has always been an industry leader, and we look forward to providing all of our clients and prospects with the very best library and knowledge management solutions combined with exceptional customer support. We are grateful that our solid customer base allows us to invest more and more into the development of innovative products and services," said Scot.
Scot and his senior executive team will continue to direct all EOS corporate operations, including sales, marketing, research, engineering, support, finance and administration. Scot will be participating at this June's 100th anniversary SLA conference in Washington DC, so please join us at our user group meeting or seminar to learn more about our software solutions and personally meet the EOS management team.
