October 20, 2003. The US National Agricultural Library (NAL) has selected Relais Enterprise for automation of their Document Delivery Service.
Relais Enterprise fully integrates request management functionality with scanning and electronic delivery. The Relais scanning station uses a Fujitsu fi-4640s scanner with a proprietary modification ideally suited to scanning directly from bound publications.
The flexibility and functionality of Relais Enterprise will be used by NAL to streamline the processing of requests from receipt through to document delivery. At the same time the NAL will be able offer a wider range of service and delivery options to their customers. NAL processes approximately 120,000 requests for documents each year from customers around the world.
