Abstract: EBSCO A-to-Z customers who also subscribe to EBSCOhost Electronic Journal Service can now view their EJS holdings within their A-to-Z title listing service. This allows end-users to browse tables of content and view article-level details for many of their e-journals, all while remaining within the A-to-Z interface.

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama, U.S.A. -- Oct. 16, 2007 -- EBSCO A-to-Z customers who also subscribe to EBSCOhost Electronic Journal Service (EJS) can now view their EJS holdings within their A-to-Z title listing service. This allows end-users to browse tables of content and view article-level details for many of their e-journals, all while remaining within the A-to-Z interface.

Not only does this make e-journal content more accessible for end-users -- it also allows a library's preferred branding to be maintained while end users perform their research.

"Integrated e-journal and TOC browsing is just another way we are enhancing our access services for the end-user," said Oliver Pesch, chief strategist, e-resource access and management services, EBSCO. "TOC browsing is available to all A-to-Z customers who order their e-journals through EBSCO, allowing A-to-Z to be a one-stop location for accessing and viewing subscribed e-journals."

About EBSCO A-to-Z

EBSCO A-to-Z is a locator tool listing all of a library's e-resources, including e-journals, titles in full-text databases, publisher packages and e-books. EBSCO A-to-Z can include print titles and other local resources you choose to upload.

The master EBSCO A-to-Z title database represents all major database vendors and publishers, with information on more than 221,000 unique titles from nearly 2,000 databases, e-journal and e-book packages.

The easy-to-navigate, searchable list of journals allows end users to quickly find any journal or resource, even those buried in a database. Administrative tools allow you to customize the journal list for your library, including branding the site to match the appearance of the library's other Web-based services.
