Green County Public Library is one of 47 public libraries in Kentucky that have chosen Library.Solution. Green County Public Library and the Kentucky libraries are part of over 700 libraries representing over 3,600 library sites worldwide that have opted for Library,Solution.
"Our board and staff are looking forward to implementing Library.Solution," Library Director Shelley Pruitt said.
Last year, Green County Public Library moved into a previously used facility in downtown Greensburg. The facility was renovated to incorporate both the library, and in an adjacent, connected building, Greensburg City Hall. The renovated building provides additional space that includes a children's area and a community room. Ms. Pruitt noted that computer usage at the library since the move has almost tripled. The renovated building, along with the implementation of Library.Solution, will strengthen the library's place as a vital part of the local community.
Library.Solution features customized reports, authority control, automatic backups, and many other features designed to assist the library's workflow. It also streamlines technical services and offers low system administration.
