August 3, 2007 -- Emeryville, CA, California State University, Stanislaus in Turlock, California is the latest institution in the CSU system to choose the Millennium integrated library technology platform. The campus library is migrating from a GEAC system maintained by Infor, Inc.

"We began looking at new library technology systems at the beginning of 2006," says Carl Bengston, Dean of Library Services. "I was familiar with the kind of quality product Innovative offers and their great track record at academic libraries in California. When our staff saw it, they were really impressed that all of Millennium's modules were well-developed, up-and-running rather than 'in development,' and would work as a unified whole in terms of functionality and 'look and feel.' Other ILS systems are not as well integrated."

Innovative began serving libraries in the CSU system in the early 1980s. To date, 18 of 23 of its campuses are running Millennium.
