Infor and Medialab have underlined their commitment to the UK and Irish library market by signing a multi-year extension to their exclusive distribution agreement for AquaBrowser.
The successful launch of AquaBrowser by Infor at the Library and Information show in 2006 has been followed by a steady stream of customers. Croydon College, the first AquaBrowser customer in the UK, has now been joined by Trinity College Dublin, Dumfries and Galloway Council and most recently by Warwickshire Colleges and Pembrokeshire County Council. Infor expects to announce 3 new customers very shortly.
The free trials provided for Clare County and London Borough of Islington using the new AquaBrowser Online service demonstrates how easy it is to integrate the solution onto other library management systems and provide a real service improvement for legacy solutions or aging systems with limited future developments. Medialab will announce AquaBrowser Online's official 'live launch' to all libraries in the coming days.
