Abstract: Omaha Public Schools in Nebraska will take advantage of the convenient features of Web Circ, TLC's new Web-based circulation module.

INWOOD, WV, January 3, 2007 - Omaha Public Schools in Nebraska will take advantage of the convenient features of Web Circ, TLC's new Web-based circulation module.

Omaha Public Schools (OPS) media specialists will be able to perform circulation functions from a browser, eliminating the need to install software at each school in the district. Web Circ will integrate with TLC's Library.Solution for Schools ILS, which Omaha Public Schools has used since 2003.

All 85 schools in Omaha Public Schools will be able to use Web Circ. While offering powerful features, Web Circ requires no training to use. Its intuitive graphical interface enables staff to simply click on a student's picture to check out books. In addition, Web Circ provides up to four library configurable tabs that can link to regularly used Web applications. Tabs provide easy access from Web Circ to the school catalog, TLC's new

Reports Manager, Internet search engines like Google or Yahoo, or any other site. Standards compliant sites will maintain their view when switching between tabs, so staff can easily move back and forth between different applications.

Other school districts that purchased Web Circ this month include Academy School District #20 in Colorado (26 schools), Menasha Joint School District in Wisconsin (7 schools), Jefferson City Public Schools in Missouri (16 schools), and Anne Arundel County Public Schools in Maryland (121 schools).

Thirteen school districts and libraries have chosen Web Circ since its August release.
