Abstract: Endeavor Information Systems announced the appointment of Kathryn Harnish to the position of director of Product Management.

Des Plaines, IL, September 1, 2006. Endeavor Information Systems (www.endinfosys.com), one of the leading worldwide providers of library management software, today announced the appointment of Kathryn Harnish to the position of director of Product Management.

"Kathryn Harnish's expansive background in both libraries and technology make her a natural fit for this position," said Roland Dietz, president and CEO at Endeavor Information Systems. "With an aggressive product release schedule -- including new versions of several of our core solutions planned for 2007 -- I look forward to collaborating with Kathryn, as her insights and experience will prove invaluable in helping Endeavor maintain this accelerated pace."

Previously, Harnish has served as the product manager for Endeavor's Meridian ERM solution, Analyzer reporting module, and, from 1999 to 2001, the Voyager integrated library system, the company's flagship ILS. In this new position, Harnish's management responsibilities will span these three product lines.

"This is an ideal role for me, given my previous experience working with the Voyager, Meridian and Analyzer products," said Harnish. "As I'm now charged with overseeing the long-term progress of these solutions, I look forward to interacting with a broader spectrum of Endeavor customers, to learn how they are currently using these products and what future functionality will further complement their efforts."

Harnish joined Endeavor in 1997 after gaining practical library experience as a systems and reference librarian at Knox College and the University of Maryland Baltimore County. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Haverford College and a Masters of Library Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
