POMONA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 15, 2006--Auto-Graphics, Inc. (Pink Sheets:AUGR), a technology innovator providing library automation solutions for over 35 years, today reported that operating income was $55,000 for the quarter ended March 31, 2006, up $15,000 or 39% from $40,000 for the same period in 2005. This performance represents 17 consecutive quarters in which Auto-Graphics has delivered a positive operating income.
Auto-Graphics' net sales were $1,272,000 for the quarter ended March 31, 2006, up $65,000 or 5% from $1,207,000 for the same period in 2005 due to a large non-recurring license sale in the first quarter. Recurring subscription and maintenance sales increased $13,000 for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 over the same period in 2005.
Net income was $53,000 for the quarter ended March 31, 2006, up $15,000 from a net income of $38,000 for the same period in 2005, a 37% increase over the prior year. Basic and diluted earnings per share was $0.01 in 2006 compared to basic and diluted earnings per share of $0.01 in 2005.
