Emeryville, CA—The Company announced today that the Las Vegas-Clark County Library has begun user testing of Innovative's Community Reviews, a product that allows patrons to comment on library items directly in the Millennium online catalog. This library-technology first brings the voice of the patron into the digital library, while giving library staff the ability to moderate and approve new postings.
"Community Reviews will bring a new level of patron participation to today's libraries," says Product Manager Dinah Sanders. "It provides both key functionality and sophisticated presentation that is enjoyed by Web users on various ecommerce, news, and social-networking websites."
This advance becomes available for WebPAC Pro, part of the Millennium 2006 Release, scheduled for mid-year.
