Abstract: According to the Daily Dispatch published in Henderson, North Carolina, four companies submitted proposals to sell Perry Memorial Library in Henderson a library automation system for prices ranging from $63,000 to nearly $110,000. Polaris Library Systems bid a base price of $62,679 that rises to $72,179 when two optional items are added, The Library Corporation submitted a single, all-inclusive price quote of $71,600; Geac bid a base quote of $105,679 that rises by $2,000 when both options are included, and SirsiDynix bid a base price of $89,945 that increases to $112,201with both options.
