HUNTSVILLE, Ala.-November 16, 2005-SirsiDynix announced today that Campbell University, in Buies Creek, North Carolina, recently selected the SirsiDynix Unicorn Library Management System for improved access to its libraries' resources for students, faculty, and staff. Along with Unicorn, the university also selected SirsiDynix's hosted SingleSearch federated search tool and hosted Resolver OpenURL linking technology to improve the information discovery process for its students and faculty. SirsiDynix SingleSearch offers simultaneous searching of all library electronic resources for the quickest, most efficient searching possible, while SirsiDynix Resolver provides easy retrieval of information by linking related content among various e-resources.

"The new system will provide greatly enhanced searching capabilities for users," stated Dr. Ronnie W. Faulkner, director of library services at Campbell University. Dr. Faulkner also indicated that the system is being funded by a $100,000 Federal LSTA Grant through the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and by a private matching grant from the Felburn Foundation of Silver Springs, Maryland.

"We are gratified at this funding," said Dr. Faulkner. "The grants serve as proof of the confidence of others in the continued excellence of Campbell University."
