Endeavor Information Systems, the leading provider of library management software, announced that Donna Hillcoat has been named Director of Library Information Management Systems with responsibility for managing the company's Voyager and Meridian products. Filling another key post, Endeavor has hired Katrina Anderson as Director of Pre-Sales and Sales Operations to oversee the company's team of product specialists along with proposal requests, bids and contracts.
Hillcoat has an extensive career in library software including serving as sales director at DRA before joining Endeavor. She will direct the product management of Voyager, the company's flagship library management software, as well as Endeavor Meridian, the recently introduced electronic resource management software product.
"With Voyager's proven capabilities and with 2005's highly successful first general release of Meridian, Endeavor is helping libraries take control of their management systems," said Roland Dietz, President and CEO. "Donna's background and her previous work at Endeavor are strong assets in ensuring the continued success and growth of our ILS offerings."
Anderson, with 15 years of industry experience, has joined Endeavor after serving for two years as Vice President of Operations with Ex Libris. In her new position, she will combine the work of the pre-sales team with the Bids and Contracts department to form a single unit for supporting the field sales and product management teams. Earlier, she was Director of Customer Service for Innovative Interfaces.
"We are extremely pleased to welcome Katrina to the Endeavor team. She is very well known in the industry and brings a wealth of experience to this very important role," said David Richter, Vice President-Global Sales at Endeavor. "Her depth of experience will be beneficial for both Endeavor and our customers."
Anderson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from UCLA and a Master's Degree in library information systems from the University of California at Berkeley.
Since its introduction in 1994, Voyager has been recognized as a leading system for managing the diverse physical assets of a library via intuitive interfaces that increase usability and efficiency. Endeavor's strong leadership heritage and commitment to technology advancement make Voyager the ideal, long-term software solution for librarians who manage an increasingly complex environment.
