Abstract: Endeavor Information Systems announced the appointment of Roger E. Bottum as Vice President of Marketing. In his new position, Bottum will provide leadership and strategic direction for the product management, marketing communications and event planning groups at Endeavor.


DES PLAINES, ILLINOIS, June 6, 2005: Endeavor Information Systems, the leading provider of library management software, is pleased to announce the appointment of Roger E. Bottum as Vice President of Marketing effective today. In his new position, Bottum will provide leadership and strategic direction for the product management, marketing communications and event planning groups at Endeavor.

Mr. Bottum most recently held executive roles at Arrowsight Inc, including president and chief marketing officer. His primary role was working with key customers and channel partners to develop a series of software services that improved compliance between retailers and manufacturers.

From 1999 to 2001, he served as chief operating officer and chief marketing officer at Opexchange, an e-commerce software service for the office products industry. Earlier, he was vice president of marketing at ShowCase Corporation, a business intelligence software company, where he helped launch a successful initial public offering.

Previously, Mr. Bottum has also held top marketing and product management roles at System Software Associates, Inc., an enterprise resource planning software company, and at Accenture where he was an associate partner, directing marketing and business development for a software group that grew from $3 million to $90 million in revenues.

Roger is a graduate of Colorado College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
