White Bear Lake, MN— June 1, 2005 – Library industry veteran Thomas Loy has joined Tech Logic in the role of Engineering Consultant.
In this role, he will represent all Tech Logic products to libraries.
Mr. Loy brings a wealth of experience to his new position, after working in the library automation industry for The Library Corporation (TLC) since 1988. His sales experience includes successfully directing the TLC Sales Department for almost 12 years. Prior to his work in Sales, Mr. Loy gained extensive experience in public access catalog development as TLC's OPAC Manager. In 2000, Mr. Loy became Director of Sales, responsible for planning and coordinating TLC's national sales activities and interacting with other divisions regarding product development. In that position, he directed TLC's National Sales Managers, Automation Consultants, Sales Development Specialists, Direct Sales Team, and Bid Department. After serving as Director of Sales, Mr. Loy accepted the position of Vice President of Sales at TLC.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Shepherd University.
