INWOOD, WV, March 02, 2005 – Librarian Nancy E. Capps has retired from The Library Corporation (TLC).
Ms. Capps joined TLC in 1986. She holds a master's degree in Library Science from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Ms. Capps brought extensive experience in the technical service operations of public, academic, and special libraries to her work at TLC.
Prior to her most recent position in TLC's Documentation Department, Ms. Capps worked in TLC's Research and Development Department. There she participated in the testing of new software, while creating documentation for new and upgraded software. In this capacity she prepared online help files, developed printed manuals and training materials.
Ms. Capps retired from TLC as a technical writer, well-known throughout the company for her expertise in TLC products and authority control issues.
