DES PLAINES, ILLINOIS, July 29, 2004: Endeavor Information Systems announced Jeroen Reiniers joined the library technology leader this month as Director of Marketing. From Endeavor's Chicago headquarters, Reiniers will direct Endeavor's expanding marketing activities and presence around the globe. He will oversee marketing activity for the Endeavor Meridian system for efficient, effective and economic management of electronic resources; the ENCompass system for managing, searching and linking digital collections; the LinkFinderPlus comprehensive linking system and Voyager integrated library management system to academic and research libraries.
Reiniers brings a range of experience in guiding customers toward sensible technology decisions to advance the activities in their organization. Most recently based in Singapore as the Business Development Manager for LexisNexis - Asia Pacific, he has collaborated with libraries of all kinds in many regions of the world. Previously, Reiniers was the Market and Account Development Manager for Elsevier - Asia Pacific, establishing successful initiatives for proactive customer-focused communication. In addition to work in Asia Pacific with LexisNexis, Elsevier and Reed Elsevier, Reiniers has held customer-focused positions in The Netherlands and the United Kingdom. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Library and Information Science from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland.
